6.3 ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE COMB GUIDE:

1. Place the corresponding comb guide on the comb lifter (1). The teeth of the comb guide must
be placed forward. Each comb guide (10 – 16) has two slots on the holders placed on their
sides, which have to be locked in place while putting the comb guides on the two side-
notches of the hair clipper. Move the comb guide over the clipper and guide the holders
carefully over the notches of the hair clipper. If the comb guide is locked in place properly, a
"clicking sound" will be heard.
2. To remove the comb guide, tilt one of the holders slightly outwards until the comb guide
comes off.

6.4 LUBRICATING BLADES:

1. After several uses, the blades should be lubricated to ensure perfect functioning.
2. Do not use any oil-based hair care products, or any other product that contains kerosene or
solvents. Solvents will evaporate and result in the blades moving slower. Use the supplied
lubricating oil.
3. To lubricate the blades, let the device run and place a few drops of oil on the blades. Then
switch the device off and wipe the excess of oil from the clippers.

7. HAIR CUTTING

7.1 SCISSORS AND BARBER'S COMB:

Use the scissors (9) to cut hair to a manageable length or to touch up the haircut.
Use the barber's comb (8) to comb hair and, when it is used together with the hair clipper, to
achieve a straight-line cut.

7.2 BEFORE EACH USE:

7.2.1 General information

Before you start cutting hair:
1. Check the hair clipper before each use. There must not be any dirt between the blades, and
the lubricating oil has to be distributed evenly over the blades in order to ensure correct
operation. Excess oil must be removed before using the device.
2. In order to have better control over the device, position the person whose hair is about to be
cut so that the top of their head is at your eye level. In addition, it also helps to prevent
muscle cramps. Comb the hair well before cutting.

7.2.2 Hair cutting tips

1. Cutting hair with this device requires some practice. In the beginning, do not cut too much
