CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

As hair will collect on the blades after trimming hair and beards, it is
recommended to clean the clipper after each use.
• Always switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains charger
adapter and the power supply prior to cleaning it.
• Do not clean the clipper right after using it. Let the beard and hair clipper cool
down sufficiently prior to cleaning it.
• Never use tools such as a screwdriver or pocket knife to remove the blade unit
from the cutting blade head. The parts could become damaged.
• Never hold the clipper and the blade unit under or immerse them in
water.
Removing the hair trimming attachment and the blade unit
• Pull the hair trimming attachment straight up and remove it as shown in the
following diagram.
• Push the blade unit forwards with your thumb. See adjacent
diagram. The blade unit can be removed and cleaned using
the supplied cleaning brush. The blades must be lubricated
regularly. Using the supplied oil container, add 2 to 3 drops of
lubricating oil onto the movable parts and stationary blades.
Caution! The blades are sharp.
Lay a dust cloth or something similar between the blade unit
and your thumb to avoid injuring your thumb.
• Then insert the blade unit back into the clipper and push it in
the direction of the arrow. See adjacent diagram.
• Wipe off the beard and hair clipper regularly with a slightly
damp cloth.
Caution! Make sure that no liquids get inside the clipper or
inside the connector socket for the power cord.
