Caution! The battery must be fully charged before first use. Non-compliance with this
instruction can lead to a shorter operational life of the battery.
1. Remove the packaging material and check all the parts for possible damages. Do not use
damaged parts. Risk of injury!
2. In order to charge the battery, read the following paragraph, "Charging the battery".

5. CHARGING THE BATTERY

1. If the device slows down during use or if the blades do not move anymore, the battery must
be recharged. The battery must also be charged before first use. In order to preserve
operational life of the battery, always fully charge it. Using a partly charged battery can
shorten the operational life of the battery and the device.
2. Unwind the power cord of the adapter (5) and connect it to the battery-charging station.
3. Place the hair clipper (3) in the battery-charging station (4) in accordance with the polarity
markings. The hair clipper can be placed in the station in one direction only.
4. Connect the adapter with the corresponding socket.
5. The red charge indicator lamp located under the On/Off switch (2) will light up. Make sure
that during the charging process the On/Off switch is set to the lower position (position AUS),
otherwise the battery will not be charged.
6. One full charging cycle takes about 4 – 6 hours. The red charge indicator lamp does not go
out once the battery has been fully charged.
7. A fully charged battery lasts for about 40 minutes.

6. USING THE HAIR CLIPPER

Caution! Read the Safety Advice before using the device.
Caution! Before each use, check the device, battery-charging station, and adapter with
power cord for damages.

6.1 LUBRICATING THE BLADES:

Before using the device, place a few drops of lubricating oil (6) on the blades and let the device
run for a few seconds. Switch off the device and wipe off the excess of oil with a cloth.

6.2 SWITCHING THE DEVICE ON/OFF:

The hair clipper can be switched on by moving the On/Off switch upwards (position EIN). The
green control lamp will light up.
Move the On/Off switch downwards in order to switch the device off.
The green control lamp will go out.
