8. Read the values on the test scales of the reference
boards marked by the laser beam.

Maximum permissible difference between the
laser beams on the left and right reference boards:
4.4 mm.
9. Move the adjustment beam (Abb. 32, item 4) to posi-
tion 7 (Abb. 30, item 4.7).
 The laser beam (Abb. 32, item 2) marks the refe-
rence boards (Abb. 32, item 3).
10. Using the spirit levels on the L -bracket (Abb. 23, item
2 and item 3), check whether the calibration and
adjustment device is level and, if necessary, adjust it
by means of the positioning feet on the base plate.

Measure in case of impermissible observational error
1. Rotate the guide tubes of the adjustment beam
(Abb. 30, item 4) 180°.
2. Check the yaw angle a second time.
3. Compare the test result from the first yaw angle
check to the test result from the second yaw angle
test.

If the test results from the first yaw angle test and
the second yaw angle test differ, the guide tubes are
bent.
4. If the test results differ, replace the guide tubes.

If the test results from the first yaw angle test and
the second yaw angle test match, the guide tubes
and the adjustment beam are defective.
5. If the test results are the same, replace the adjust-
ment beam and the guide tubes.
