Checking the P-Assist S5 in laser mount B
1. Set the precision measuring bar to a height of
1350 mm.
2. Using the positioning feet, level the SCT 415 on the
base plate with the aid of the spirit levels on the L -
bracket (Abb. 23, item 2 and item 3).
3. Fasten the P-Assist S5 (Abb. 18, item 1) to laser
mount B on the L -bracket and rotate counterclockwi-
se as far as possible.
4. Switch on the P-Assist S5.
5. Align test board (Abb. 18, item 3) with 0-point and
fasten to base plate.
6. Remove the P-Assist S5.
7. Fasten the reference laser (Abb. 18, item 1) to laser
mount B on the L -bracket and rotate counterclockwi-
se as far as possible.
 The laser beam of the reference laser (Abb. 18,
item 2) marks the test board.
8. Check the difference (Abb. 18, item 5) between the
0-point on the test board (Abb. 18, item 3) and the
laser beam of the reference laser (Abb. 18, item 2).

Maximum permissible difference between laser be-
ams on the test board: 3.5 mm
In case of impermissible observational error
Check laser mount B on the L -bracket and, if neces-
sary, replace the precision measuring bar.
Check the play of the P-Assist S5 and, if necessary,
replace the P-Assist S5.

Checking the P-Assist S5 for rotation
1. Set the precision measuring bar to a height of
1000 mm.
2. Using the positioning feet, level the SCT 415 on the
base plate with the aid of the spirit levels on the L -
bracket (Abb. 23, item 2 and item 3).
3. Fasten the reference laser (Abb. 19, item 1) to laser
mount A on the L -bracket and rotate counterclockwi-
se as far as possible.
4. Switch on the reference laser.
5. Align test board 1, placed on the wall where it meets
the floor, (Abb. 19, item 3) with the 0-point at a
distance of 1000 mm from the SCT 415.
6. Using double-sided adhesive tape, fasten the test
board (aligned with 0-point) to the wall.
7. Align test board 2 (Abb. 19, item 4) with the 0-point
at a height of 2000 mm and fasten it to the wall
using double-sided adhesive tape.
 Test board 2 is now affixed vertically above test
board 1.
 The laser beam of the reference laser (Abb. 19,
item 2) marks both test boards at the 0-point.
