Do not use excessive force, this will lead to compromised results and
significantly shorten the service life of the saw blade.
If you intend to cut a curved work
piece, make sure the work piece is not
bent against the fence. Make sure no
gap forms between the work piece,
the fence and the base plate.
The entire cutting assembly can be
slid back and forth on the sliding bars
(part no. 78). This extends the
possible length of cuts.
If you are cutting work pieces which do not require extending the cutting
length, push the cutting assembly back all the way and lock it in place by
tightening the locking screw for rail assembly (V).
If you intend to cut wider work pieces, up to 290 mm, loosen the locking
screw for rail assembly (V). The work piece must be cut in a pulling
motion, never push the saw back into the material.
Plunge the saw blade into the stock as close to the main fence (I) as
possible and as deep as it will go. After that, carefully cut through the
stock by pulling the saw assembly forward until the saw has cut through
the entire work piece.
