Turning ON/OFF

1. To operate the machine, pull the ON/OFF switch (Q) towards the handle.
2. For safety reasons, the ON/OFF switch cannot be locked in place, it must
be pressed continuously.
3. Now pull the safety lever (E). Only then the saw blade can be lowered
onto the work piece. To turn off the machine, release the ON/OFF switch.

Turning on the Laser

The ON/OFF switch for the Laser (F) is located on the left front side of the
handle.

Setting the Cutting Angle

1. Start by setting the mitre angle.
To do so, loosen the screw for
the mobile base (W) and turn the
movable centre of the base plate
until the index (M) points to the
desired angle on the mitre scale
(N).
2. If you intend to perform a double
mitre cut, loosen the locking lever
(T) and tilt the saw to the left. The
tilting angle can be read from the
tilting scale (U).
3. The degree scale of the scale is
rather simple for construction
reasons; therefore you should
use a protractor or a bevel for
delicate cuts.
4. Use the locking lever (T) to fix the setting.

Notes on Operating the Saw

For your own safety and the best cutting results, always use the work
piece clamp (O) to clamp the work piece down and against the fence (I).
Before every step, make sure the saw blade cannot come into contact with
any part of the machine, the clamp or the fence.
