5. Now the mobile safety hood and the pressing
board can be swung over the saw blade housing.
The mounting point of the saw blade is now
accessible.
6. For changing the saw blade the driveshaft must
be locked in place with the shaft lock. The button
is located just under the safety lever (E) on the
motor. It is protected by the rubber sleeve (part
no. 49).
7. Now loosen the mounting screw of the saw blade
with the included ring spanner (Z
8. To loosen the screw, turn in the rotating direction of the saw blade. After
the screw and the outer flange (part no. 37) have been removed, the saw
blade can be removed.

Installing the Saw Blade

When installing a new saw blade,
please make sure the diameter of
the saw blade and the mounting
hole correspond to the values
stated in the "Technical Data".
The maximum rotation speed of
the saw blade must be at least the
no load speed of the mitre saw.
The rotating direction arrow on the
saw blade must correspond to the
arrow on the safety hood.
Before installation, clean grease and saw dust off the flanges and the
mounting screw and, if necessary, degrease the new saw blade.
Install the new saw blade in the reverse order to the removal of the old
blade.
