Keep your work place well lit.
Before the first use, familiarise yourself with operation, setup and handling
of the unit.
Use only sharp, straight saw blades in good condition. Please observe the
maximum revolution speed of the saw blade.
If the machine or the protective equipment becomes defective,
immediately stop work and have the machine repaired before using it
again. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Have the machine repaired by a
qualified professional or turn to the Westfalia Customer Support.
If the machine is equipped with a laser, this laser may not be replaced with
a laser of a different type. Repairs on the laser may only be undertaken by
the manufacturer of the laser or an authorised agent of the manufacturer.
Laser beams can injure your eyes. Do never look directly into the beam.
Do not look into the laser openings. Please note that a laser beam on a
reflecting surfaces can be just as dangerous as looking directly into the
laser opening
Do not reach unto the working area to remove pieces or for any other
reason while the machine is running and the saw assembly is not locked
into the resting position.
Make sure the machine is, if possible, solidly mounted or clamped to a
workbench or table.
Long work pieces should by all means be supported with an additional
support such as a roller support.
Make sure there are no nails, screws or similar items in the work piece.
