7. Faults

Should any faults occur which are not listed below, immediately deenergize the lifting platform, shut it down,
secure against unauthorized use and inform Bosch customer service or an authorized service agent.

All repair work is to be performed by Bosch customer service or an authorized service agent. Exclusive use
is to be made of genuine Bosch replacement parts. The use of parts from other manufacturers renders the
type approval invalid.
Faults during runway operation:
Fault
No motor operation.
Motor operation but runway not
raised.
Runway not lowered.
Noise during lifting or lowering.
Faults during operation of wheel-free scissor lift:
Fault
Motor operation but wheel-free
scissor lift not raised.
Wheel-free scissor lift not lowered. R Pneumatic cylinder not released.
Noise during lifting or lowering.

R Master switch on "O".
R Power failure.
R Motor overheating,
thermoswitch in motor has cut
out.
R Cable break switch activated.
R Control fuse defective.
R Printed circuit board defective.
R Vehicle too heavy.
R Upper limit value reached.

R Hydraulic system defective.
R Detent pins extended.
R Slack cable switch activated.
R Foot protection activated.
R Hydraulic system defective.
R Wrong hydraulic fluid with poor
lubrication action.
R Inadequate lubrication of cross
member guide surfaces.

R Vehicle too heavy.
R Upper limit value reached.
R Lack of oil.
R Hydraulic system defective.
R Synchronization control
activated.

R Worn sliders at wheel-free
scissor lift.

Remedy
R Check the master switch and set to "I" if applicable.
R Check the power supply.
R Wait 10 minutes and try again.
R Call in customer service.
R Check whether the permissible runway loadbearing
capacity has been exceeded.
R Check oil level.
R Call in customer service.
R Raise the runway slightly to retract the detent pins.
R Check the detent pins.
R Press the "Lower" button again.
R Call in customer service.
R Check the type of fluid (use organic fluid).
R Lubricate the sliding surfaces.
R Call in customer service.
Remedy
R Check whether the permissible loadbearing capacity of
the wheel-free scissor lift has been exceeded.
R Check oil level.
R Call in customer service.
R Check compressed air supply.
R Call in customer service.
R Check the type of fluid (use organic fluid).
R Call in customer service.
