C. OUTPUT
CURRENT
The output current is also indicated by the combined volt/ammeter,
after the latter has been set to the correct current range with SK,. The
output current is adjusted with the left-hand knob "I" (coarse) and with
the right-hand knob "I" (fine).
If necessary,
the output terminals can be short-circuited when adjusting
the output current.
However,
it is advisable to do this at a low output
voltage.
Note: During transport,
set switch SK, to the 0.6 A position to damp
the movements
of the moving coil in the meter as far as possible.
