PUTTING
INROSOPERATION
A. ADJUSTING
TO THE LOCAL MAINS VOLTAGE
As delivered the stabiliser is set for a 220 V mains voltage,
so that,
if the local mains voltage is 110, 125 or 235 V, the stabiliser has to be
adjusted to the correct value by changing the tappings on transformer
T1 (see Figs.
8 and 3).
For this one of the side panels must be removed first and then the top
panel.
Thé side panel is removed by loosening its two screws to such
an extent that it can be slid off backwards over the screw heads
(see Fig.
3).
Note: Make sure that the correct fuses (VL1 and VL2) have been inserted
into the appropriate holders behind the left-hand side panel of the
set (Fig. 4).

20 A medium delayed-action type for 110 V and 125 V.
B. CONNECTIONS
1l. Earth
The apparatus can be earthed via:
- the earth screw Wat the rear;
- the rim earth of the mains connector.
The circuit to be powered can be earthed via the earth terminal —"
at the front of the apparatus or the earth screw
(terminal 2) on the
terminal strip at the rear.
2. Mains
Connect the apparatus to the mains via the mains flex.
3. Output
Note: When in operation none of the connections in the circuits des-
cribed in b, c, d, e and f below may be disconnected.
