Top up with oil if the level is too low.
1. Add the oil to the top mark on the dipstick.
2. Tighten the oil filler cap securely.
Fuel
Use gasoline with an octane rating of 86 or higher. Unleaded
gasoline produces less deposits on the engine and spark plugs
and extends the life of the exhaust system.
Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or a mixture of oil and gasoline.
Be careful not to get dirt or water into the fuel tank.
Be careful not to spill fuel while refueling. Spilled fuel or fuel
vapors may ignite. If fuel is spilled, make sure the area is
dry before starting the engine. Avoid prolonged skin
contact of fuel or inhalation of vapors.
Gasoline is highly flammable and will explode under certain
conditions. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine
turned off. Do not refuel or store fuel near flames or sparks.
No smoking while refueling.
Check the fuel gauge. If the fuel level is low, refuel:
1. Switch off the generator.
2. Place the generator on an even surface.
3. Remove the fuel tank cap.
4. Top up fuel. Do not exceed the level of the
fuel filter.
5. Make sure the fuel cap is properly and
securely closed after refueling.
