Operating Instructions
The connections are exclusively made using screw terminals:
- Unscrew cover of terminal compartment (labelled "FIELD TERMINALS"
on the housing).
- Remove approx. 50 mm sheath from the cable.
- Separate the screen and the pair of conductors.
- Slightly twist the screen and connect sleeve.
- Insert prepared cable through cable gland.
- Connect bare ends of conductors to terminals "+" and "--" (any polarity).
- Connect screen to earthing screw.
- Tighten cable gland nut.
- Screw on housing cover.
Only a screened, two-conductor cable can be used as the bus cable. The
recommended types are:
· Ex i applications
· Non-Ex applications
