7. Measurement
Note
• Precise measuring results even for small
consumers.
• The voltage or power of the connected devices
must not exceed 230 V or 3680 W.
• Observe the information on the type plate of
the connected units.
• If you connect an electrical consumer with more
than 3680W, OVERLOADappears.
• It is advisable to measure the energy consump-
tion of an appliance over a longer period of
time and, if necessary, extrapolate it to the
annual consumption.
• Connect the energy cost meter to a conventional
earthed socket.
• Plug the electrical appliance to be measured or
its mains lead into the socket of the energy cost
meter. The consumption measurement starts
automatically.
• Press the FUNC button to change the display
contents.
• Disconnect the electrical appliance from the
energy cost meter or the energy cost meter from
the mains to end the measurement
8. Resetting the meter (Reset)
Note
• A reset resets the device to the factory settings.
• This will erase all stored data on the device.
• A reset may be necessary if the device no longer
shows any reaction or you want to reset the
stored data.
• Press the Reset button (5) using a pointed object
to reset the energy cost meter.
9. Care and maintenance
Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before
cleaning and during prolonged periods of
non-use.
• Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly
damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners.
• Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
