Commissioning and operation

DANGER
Danger of death by electric shock
There is imminent danger in case of con-
tact with live parts – even in the event of a
fault.

The pump must not be used if there
are persons in the water.
WARNING
Risk of crushing or drawing in at the
rotor

 Only start up the pump if all safety de-
vices are properly installed and opera-
tional.

Place the pump on a stable surface.

Secure the pump against falling over or
rolling away.
CAUTION
Hazard due to start-up jerk after
switch-on
The impact when switching on can be ex-
tremely strong.
 Never hold the handle when switching
on the pump.


Hazard due to splashing liquids under
high pressure
 In case of leaks or damaged compo-
nents, switch off the pump and secure
it against continued operation.

The pump can be suspended by the handle and po-
sitioned slightly above the ground. Depending on
the pump capacity, a possibly high start-up jerk of
the pump must be observed here!

The correct direction of rotation of the pump is given
when the start-up jerk is in counter-clockwise direc-
tion (as seen from above).

If the direction of rotation is wrong, two of the
phases must be reversed (400 V) (have this work
done by a qualified electrician).
