DANGER
Danger of death and risk of equipment damage due to
overfilling compressed air containers
Compressed air containers warm up when being filled and
therefore have a higher pressure when warm. When
subsequently cooled, the pressure in the compressed gas
container drops, for which reason the limit pressure switch is
set to 215+3 bar/3150+43.5 psi (type A) or 228+3 bar/
3300+43.5 psi (type B) depending on type.
After cooling, compressed gas containers are only permitted to
be filled up to 200 bar/2900 psi (type A) or 207 bar/3000 psi
(type B).

operating the Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO unsupervised
The Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO may only be operated
under supervision.

Danger of death and risk of equipment damage due to fire
caused by oxygen enrichment
Only connect the filling panels and hoses specified in chapter
"Order list" on page 25.
Do not use any adapters.
WARNING
Risk of injury and of equipment damage due to incorrectly
dimensionsed accessories
The Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO is only permitted for use
together with compressed gas tanks approved for a high
pressure system up to 207 bar/3000 psi.
The accessories used for oxygen must also be suitable and
clean.
WARNING
Danger of death and risk of equipment damage due to electric
shock.
The switch box of the Dräger Oxygen Booster
200 ECO is not permitted to be damp.
Disconnect the Dräger Oxygen Booster
200 ECO from the power supply immediately if
a short circuit is suspected.
WARNING
Risk of injury and of equipment damage when operating the
Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO outside the case housing
The Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO is only permitted to be
removed from the case housing for servicing and maintenance
purposes by authorized specialist personnel; during all other
work, the Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO must be securely
fitted in the case housing. Operation outside the case housing
is forbidden and there is a risk of injury due to moving parts.
Check all screw connections and tighten if necessary before
every use of the Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to contaminated lines
Use only pure oxygen or pure oxygen mixtures for filling and
compressing. Otherwise the piping system may become
contaminated.
A contaminated Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO must be
cleaned before use by authorized expert personnel or Dräger
Service.
Observe ASTM G93 class C.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and risk of equipment damage due to high
temperatures developing in the Dräger Oxygen Booster
200 ECO
In the event of high temperatures developing in the Dräger
Oxygen Booster 200 ECO, the pump may overheat and limit
the function of the Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO and could
catch fire in some circumstances.
Do not seal or block the ventilation slots in the Dräger Oxygen
Booster 200 ECO. A minimum distance of 30 cm to the
surrounding walls must be observed to avoid impaired cooling.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and risk of equipment damage due to vibration of
the Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO
The Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO may vibrate strongly in
use and could fall down. Only use the Dräger Oxygen Booster
200 ECO in a horizontal position.
Always secure during use or use an antislip base.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and risk of equipment damage due to high dead
weight
The Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO weighs approx. 75 kg.
Always take care when transporting the Dräger Oxygen
Booster 200 ECO in order to avoid injury. Always secure the
Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO adequately during transport.
Securing the transport case for the filling panel for six
compressed gas cylinders, for example with cable ties or a
lock, is recommended.
CAUTION
Risk of tripping over hoses and cables
Secure and mark horizontal or vertical hoses and cables.
CAUTION
Note the permissible temperature range from -15 to +40 °C/+5
to +104 °F. The desired filling pressure may not be achieved if
the temperature is too high.
CAUTION
Risk of equipment damage in the non-permitted pressure
range of the gas supply
If the gas supply is under too great a pressure or is opened too
quickly, the Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO may be
damaged.
Observe the permissible pressure range of 200 bar/2900 psi
(type A) or 207 bar/3000 psi (type B) for the gas supply and
always open all valves on the gas supply and the Dräger
Oxygen Booster 200 ECO slowly.
