• Avoid grinding excessive material from the lateral side of the
footplate, ensuring sufficient space between the medial strut (B) and
the medial arch (Fig. 1).
• To prevent movement of the device in the shoe the footplate should
cover the whole length of the sole (Fig. 2).
• If possible, replace the insert on top of the footplate. Foot orthoses
can be used on top of the footplate if required to support the foot
function.
Tibial shell:
• Apply padding and straps (C, D) as needed. Additional padding can
be added to the medial strut if required.
• Shift the anterior/posterior position of the device to obtain a close fit
between the anterior tibial shell (E) and the lower leg (Fig. 3).
• Attention should be paid to the position of the medial strut relative to
the medial malleolus, especially for a patient with a pronated foot
position. Up to 1 cm of the strut may be ground off providing it is at
least 7 cm from the footplate (Fig. 4).
• The lower lateral support (F) can be removed if less control is
required (Fig. 5).
Note: The device cannot be reshaped by heating. Heating will cause
delamination and negatively alter the device's dynamics.
Device Application
• Insert the device into the shoe.
• The patient should be seated with the knee flexed to 90° and foot in
a neutral position.
• Align the anterior tibial shell on the tibia and fasten the lower strap
(Fig. 6).
• Fasten the upper calf strap, the distance between the two anterior
support members can be adjusted with the strap to fit the tibial
contouring (Fig. 7, 8).

USAGE
Cleaning and care
• Hand-wash using mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
• Air dry.
Note: Do not machine-wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach, or wash with fabric
softener.
Note: Avoid contact with salt water or chlorinated water. In case of
contact, rinse with fresh water and air dry.
DISPOSAL
The device and packaging must be disposed of in accordance with
respective local or national environmental regulations.
