SOLAR INSECT TRAP

Dear customer,
thank you for choosing one of our quality products. This man-
ual explains the functions and handling of the device. Please
take some time to read through the instructions carefully and
make sure to follow all safety and operational directions. Keep
this manual safe and ensure that you include it when passing
the product on to a third party. If you have any questions or sug-
gestions about this device, please contact your supplier or our

1. Product description
Wasps fly from spring until autumn. During late spring and in
summer, until around the end of July, they are busy with the
building of nests and the breeding of offspring and are hardly
influenced by lures. In late summer and autumn, however, they
are attracted by the smell of fruit. This is the time when wasps
can become a plague, but on the other hand it is also the time
when they can be combated by hanging up our Solar Insect
Trap. Just fill the trap with vinegar or sugared water (see below
for other possibilities) and hang it up or set it on a table. The
wasps crawl inside, but the design of the wasp trap prevents
them from escaping again easily. When it gets dark, a blue LED
turns on automatically, which makes the liquid shimmer blue.
This is very attractive to many other insects, which can also be
caught with the liquid.
Recipe suggestion: Mixture of juice, sugar, a bit of vinegar and
1 drop of dish soap
Or: 4 dessert spoons of sugar, 3 jiggers of vinegar, 1 glass of
fruit juice,1 glass of wheat beer, 1 drop of dish soap
2. Placing the traps
To keep insects and wasps away from you and your food, hang
or set solar insect traps at a distance around your table. This
means that insects and wasps can be distracted when they
approach you. Of course, another trap may be set on the table.
Note: the response of each animal to our insect killer may vary.
The development of our devices, methods and application tips
are based on experience, testing and feedback from our custom-
ers. Therefore the devices are successful in most cases.
The function of attracting flying insects is only given to in-
sects that react to light.

The symbol of the crossed-out bin indicates that electrical and
electronic equipment, batteries, rechargeable batteries and
lamps may not be disposed of together with household waste.
It is legal obligation to collect these separately and dispose of
them at an approved collection point (e.g. local recycling centre
or retailer).
Many retailers are legally obliged to take back goods, free of
charge. Devices, batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps
may be returned to us by post, free of charge (company ad-
dress). Contact your public waste disposal authority to find out
where devices, batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps can
be returned for an environmentally friendly disposal.
Consumers are obliged to separate batteries and rechargeable
batteries that are not enclosed by the device, as well as lamps
that can be removed without destroying them, from the device
before disposal at the collection point.
The built-in battery is not removable by the end user. However,
it can easily be removed by manufacturer-independent profes-
sional personnel.
If there are chemical signs under the crossed-out wheeled bin
symbol, the battery/rechargeable battery contains materials
which, if handled incorrectly, can seriously damage the environ-
ment and health.
The symbols have the following meaning:
Pb: > 0.004 mass percent lead;
Cd: > 0.002 mass percent cadmium;
Hg: > 0.0005 mass percent mercury.
