Troubleshooting, repairs and servicing

Troubleshooting, repair and servicing may only by undertaken by authorized and instructed personnel.
Generally speaking, an annual inspection and factory calibration of the test device by the manufacturer's customer service department or by specialists or a service centre
authorized by the manufacturer is recommended.
If a fault occurs in the test device or for servicing, contact the manufacturer's technical customer service or the service centre/agency for your country.
A test gas can is required to check the sensor. Part number 1105967
The procedure is described in a separate manual. This is available from the respective TUNAP national company.
Error codes
When an error is detected, the corresponding error code is shown on the display.
Error Codes Description
F 1001 Insufficient or zero air flow: start the measurement again
F 2002 Memory full: please save your data and set the vehicle up again
F 3003 Fluctuating measurement conditions: please start the measurement again
F 4004 Battery empty: please charge
Hardware error (send the device for repair to manufacturer)
F 5005
F 6006 Error internal memory for measuerements
F 7007 Sensor check faulty. If the error persists, check whether there is enough content in the can. To do this, actuate the spray head several times
and check whether gas is lcoming out.
