Verwendungszweck WARNUNG Explosionsgefahr! Das Dräger REGARD 3900 Profibus Gateway ist nicht dafür bestimmt oder zugelas- sen, in Bereichen zu arbeiten, in denen es zu einer möglichen Entwicklung von zünd- fähigen oder explosiven Gasgemischen kommen kann. Das REGARD 3900 Profibus Gateway dient zur Kommunikation zwischen dem Controller RE- GARD 3900/3910 und angeschlossenen Auswertesystemen, die das Profibus DP Protokoll nutzen. -

Konfiguration REGARD 3900 Profibus Gateway adressieren 1. Gerät spannungslos schalten (Stecker der Spannungsversorgung am Gerät ziehen). 2. Den Jumper 'Boot Configuration' von Position 1 auf Position 2 setzen. 3. Mitgeliefertes Nullmodem Kabel mit dem PC verbinden. 4. Gateway wieder an die Spannungsversorgung anschließen (24VDC) – die grüne LED sollte jetzt schnell blinken. -

The REGARD 3900 Profibus Gateway is needed for the communication between the control unit REGARD 3900/3910 and an external PLC system using the Profibus DP protocol. As stan- dard the address for the communication of the gateway is set to '100'. If there is more than one gateway used the address can be configured via the includedconfiguration software. -
