Intended use

The Montevo stand-up/sit-down desk system is a electrical height
adjustable mobile workstation. lt is suitable for temporary work in
living areas. Yline is an ergonomic table for sitting and standing
activities.
Notes on setting up a workplace for mobile working:
Space requirement:
There must be sufficient space to move around in the workplace
for changing work postures and movements. The movement
area should be at least 1.5 m². The workplace should be supple-
mented with an ergonomic seat. Attention should be paid to the
individual adjustability of the chair elements.
Lighting:
Workplaces must be set up in a way that illuminated surfaces do
not glare and reflections on the screen need to be avoided as far
as possible. In order to largely avoid being dazzled by daylight,
the workplaces should, if possible, be arranged with a viewing
direction parallel to the main window front. Setting up screens in
front of the windows can lead to direct glare due to large diffe-
rences in luminance between the screen and the work environ-
ment. Nearby windows at the user's back can be reflected on the
screen and cause reflected glare.
Noise:
When designing the workstation, the noise caused by the work
equipment belonging to the workstation must be taken into
account, in particular to avoid impairment of concentration and
speech intelligibility. This rating level (limit value) is 55dB (A).
Indoor climate:
A comfortable room climate prevails when the air temperature,
humidity, air movement and heat radiation in the room are percei-
ved as optimal. Office rooms should primarily be freely ventilated
through windows. Studies show that there are fewer complaints
with free window ventilation than with air-conditioned offices.
The following guidelines apply: a relative humidity of max. 50%,
an air temperature between 20-22 ° C and an air speed of max.

Operation:
Make sure that there are no obstacles in the way of the desk.
The desk top is not touching any walls. All cables must be of a
suitable length to adjust the height of the desk.
Installation site:
When setting up the table, make sure it is on a suitable level
surface. The table can be levelled using the height adjustment
screws on the runners.
