Mounting

Mounting:
Directly on standard symmetrical 35 mm (top hat) rail to DIN EN 60715. Outside hazardous areas. Protection
category at least IP 20.
The device supply will be calibrated ex works. An additional calibration of zero-and high value is not neces-
sary. Prior to operation, check the correct function and wiring and the marking of the intrinsically safe circuits.
Ambient conditions:
While installed in back of panel areas cabinet mounting is permissible with max. 20°K heat dissipation of
mounted devices.
1.
Unforced draught convection: 400 W
2.
Draught convection using vents and filters: 800 W
3.
Draught convection using vents without filters: 400 W
4.
Forced convection ventilators per rack: 320 W
5.
Forced convection using heat exchangers plus forced convection inside and out: 1500 W

unsafe wiring separately. Permitted line cross- section: 0.2 mm² to 2.5 mm².

Installation / Maintenance

The national regulations applicable to the maintenance, servicing and test of apparatus for explosive atmos-
pheres and the general rules of engineering must be observed.
Servicing
No regular maintenance is required as long as the maximum operating conditions are observed.
Inspection
Observe the relevant national regulations! The user of an electrical installation in explosive atmospheres is
obliged to have it inspected by a skilled electrical engineer with regard to its proper condition.
Service Information
In case of dubious measuring results please check all external connections and the load carefully. There must
be no overloading of the device. Use the check list from section Installation / Mounting.

Recycling

Recycling
Observe the national regulations and directions and directives for disposal and recycling for faulty devices.
In order to facilitate the recycling of individual components, plastic parts are providing with the identifica-
tion mark of the plastic material used.
Z = number of devices per cabinet
V = permissible power dissipation
G = power dissipation per device
