3.3 Product safety

3.3.1 Intended use

For mobile (portable/vehicle-mounted) airless spraying of professional coating water- and
solvent-based coating materials, such as varnishes, primers and paints. Only intended for
professional use. The device is not protected against explosion, and is therefore not suita-
ble for areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere. The JustFinish HVLM spraying system
is typically used in refurbishing and small surface applications such as door frames, doors,
gates, radiators, woodwork, etc.
3.3.2 Foreseeable misuse – NOT PERMITTED –
Processing of:
• Low molecular weight hydrocarbon compounds (e.g., nitro)
• Solid-filled (e.g., quartz sand) coating materials
• Highly flammable/explosive media
• Media with a high chlorine and acidic content and high alkaline content
• Operation in areas where explosion protection applies
• Unintended use
• Processing unsuitable media
• Modifications to the device
• Use of wear parts not approved by the manufacturer
• Cleaning with metal objects, e.g., a wire brush

3.4 Hazard warnings

3.4.1 General hazard warnings
Work area
Caution: Risk of falling and slipping due to connection cables, material
hoses and liquid media
• Do not route cables and hoses within the traffic area of the work area.
• Immediately absorb any spilled liquids and, if necessary, sprinkle the
area.
Caution: Risk of injury from misuse
• The spray jet must never be pointed at persons or animals.
• Never look or reach into the spray jet.
