- Now, at the desired (cleaned) location, stick it to the door/door frame, or to the window/
window frame. (Note: the Magnet has a triangle on it, this should be closest to the Contact) &
The space between the Magnet & Contact should be no longer than 10mm.
- Once installed, test that it works by arming your system & then open
the door or window. You should hear the alarm. If not, Repeat steps for any additional Door/
Window Contacts you have( the distance better within 150ft between CP5 panel and Door/
Window Contacts.

Installing Your Motion Detector
Location
- The most common false alarm is caused by a Motion Detector that can often be prevented
by choosing a better location. With a 90 degree vertical detection angle, 110 degree horizontal
viewing angle & a detection range of up to 30 ft (distance of object from motion detector). We
recommend not pointing Motion Detectors directly at windows, or in direct sunlight.

- Using the provided screws, hang the Mounting Plate approximately 6ft (2m) from the floor.
- Slide the Ball into the slot on the back of the Motion Detector. Remove the battery tab & turn
the power switch to'ON'.
- With the Ball attached to the Motion Detector, firmly press the Ball into the Socket on the
Mount hanging from the wall. Adjust for best angle.
- To test your Motion Detector, arm your system & then walk in front of the Motion Detector. An
alarm will sound. disarm your system. If not, Repeat for any additional Motion Detectors.
