Taking a Breath Test
1. Attach a breath sampling D-Piece™ and optionally a new SteriBreath
2. Turn on the device by pressing the power button once.
3. Press 'Breath Test' symbol on screen
4. To cancel the breath test, press .
5. Inhale and hold breath for the pre-set 15 second countdown.
6. A beep will sound during the last 3 seconds of the countdown.
7. Blow slowly into mouthpiece, aiming to empty the lungs completely.
8. The ppm levels will rise and hold on-screen.
9. When the test is finished will appear at the bottom of the screen.
10. To repeat the breath test, press and repeat steps 4-8.

12. To save the reading, press and select the relevant patient profile.
13. Remove the D-Piece™ between tests to purge sensor with fresh air.
14. To switch off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, device will also power off after
45 minutes of inactivity to save power.
Taking a Facemask Test
1. Attach a new facemask and face mask sampling system.
2. Turn on the device by pressing the power button once.
3. Press .
4. To cancel the test, press .
5. Inhale and exhale in to the face mask, the device will take the reading in real-time.
6. The ppm levels will rise and hold at the peak level, when this has stopped rising for a
period of 5 consecutive seconds the test result can be recorded and the test stopped.
7. When the test is finished will appear at the bottom of the screen.
8. To repeat the test, press once to return to the home screen and repeat steps 3-6.
9. Remove the face mask sampling system between tests to purge sensor with fresh air.
10. To switch off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, device will also power off
after 45 minutes of inactivity to save power.

Faire un test d'haleine
1. Fixez un piégeur D-Piece™ au moniteur et éventuellement un nouvel embout buccal
SteriBreath™ Eco.
2. Allumez l' appareil en appuyant une seule fois sur le bouton d'alimentation.
3. Appuyez sur l'icône « Test d'haleine »
4. Pour annuler le test d'haleine, appuyez sur l'icône
5. Inspirez et retenez votre souffle pendant le compte à rebours de 15 secondes.
6. Un signal sonore retentit pendant les trois dernières secondes du compte à rebours.
7. Soufflez lentement dans l'embout buccal, et videz complètement vos poumons.
8. La concentration de l'air mesurée en part par million (ppm) augmentera et se stabilisera sur
l'écran.
9. Lorsque le test est terminé, les icônes
10. Pour recommencer le test, appuyez sur l'icône
11. Pour revenir à l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur l'icône
12. Pour enregistrer le résultat, appuyez sur l'icône
concerné.
13. Retirez le piégeur D-Piece™ entre chaque test pour purger le capteur avec de l'air frais.
14. Pour éteindre l'appareil, maintenez le bouton d'alimentation enfoncé pendant trois
secondes. L'appareil s'éteindra automatiquement après 45 minutes d'inactivité pour
économiser de l'énergie.
Faire un test avec un masque à oxygène
1. Fixez sur le moniteur un nouveau masque à oxygène et un nouveau système de
prélèvement.
2. Allumez l' appareil en appuyant une seule fois sur le bouton d'alimentation.
3. Appuyez sur l'icône .
4. Pour annuler le test, appuyez sur l'icône
5. Inspirez et expirez dans le masque, l'appareil prendra la mesure en temps réel.
6. La concentration de l'air mesurée en part par million (ppm) augmentera et se stabilisera au
niveau le plus élevé. Lorsque la concentration n'augmentera plus pendant cinq secondes
consécutives, vous pouvez enregistrer le résultat et mettre fin au test.
7. Les icônes s'affichent au bas de l'écran pour indiquer la fin du test.
8. Pour recommencer le test, appuyez une fois sur l'icône
et recommencez les étapes 3 à 6.
9. Retirez le masque de prélèvement entre les tests, pour purger les capteurs à l'air frais.
10. Pour éteindre l'appareil, maintenez le bouton d'alimentation enfoncé pendant trois
secondes. L'appareil s'éteindra automatiquement après 45 minutes d'inactivité pour
économiser de l'énergie.
