2. Once the jar has been
placed on a level and
non-slip surface, place
the
appliance
central position on the
lid.
3. Push down the start
button (1) for approx.
3 seconds until the internal clamping jaws (4) have
started to move. The external clamping jaws (5) will
move inwards until they have a firm hold on the glass.
The internal clamping jaws will push down firmly on the
lid and rotate to open the lid.
4. Never leave the device unattended if it is switched on.
Allow the appliance to rotate until the lid has opened.
5. Once the lid has opened, the clamping jaws will return
to their original position and stop moving automatically.
6. Once the appliance has switched itself off, remove it
from the lid. Always ensure that the lid has been
unscrewed fully. Always hold the jar firmly in one hand
whilst removing the lid with the other.
7. In order to re-open a jar which has been stored in the
fridge, first wipe off the moisture from the lid and the
glass jar. Any form of moisture on the lid, such as
condensation etc. may cause the appliance's clamping
jaws to slip.
