Intended Use
This appliance is designed to open standard round jars
with comfort and ease. It is designed for personal use and
not suitable for commercial use.
Inserting the Batteries
1. Slide the battery compart-
ment
cover
housing.
2. Place 2 batteries of the
type LR6 (AA) into the
battery compartment (3).
Pay attention to the proper polarity of the batteries. The
polarity is printed inside the battery compartment. Use
alkaline batteries.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place.
You must feel and hear it click into position.
Notes:
Always replace both batteries at the same time. Do not
mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types.
The appliance will not work if the battery compartment
cover is removed.
Using the Jar Opener
Warning! Never place your fingers in or near to the
clamping jaws when operating the appliance.
1. Always remove any safety packaging externally applied
to the glass jar.
