BEFORE YOU JUMP START!
Before you attempt to jump start your vehicle, ensure your vehicle is in Park. Ensure manual
transmission vehicles are in Neutral with the Emergency Brake engaged.
The Cable Clamps are color-coded, RED for POSITIVE (+) and
Red
BLACK for NEGATIVE (-). DO NOT mix up the cables or allow
the metal ends to touch together because this may damage
the battery, charging system and/or electronics on a vehicle.
Locate the vehicle battery and follow the steps below. We

recommend jump starting when the Jump Starter battery level
is > 50%.
INTELLI-STEP SMART DISPLAY:
The Jump Starter is programmed to display step-by-step instructions to Jump Start your vehicle.
When the Jump Starter is powered on, plug the Jumper Cables into the Jumper Cables Port and
follow the progressive prompts on the LCD Display. The detailed steps are provided in the next section
for reference.
