Mounting / Dismounting, Operating Position

8.2.1 Mounting in the Cable Gland

• Guide the connection cable for the Fieldbus Terminator through a cable entry into an
EN
enclosure with a recognised type of protection.
EN
• Insert the Fieldbus Terminator into the cable entry as far as it will go and tighten the
cable entry to the stipulated tightening torque.

• The connection cable must be laid securely using cable ties to ensure low vibrations.

• Connect the connection cable to a suitable Ex e terminal.

• Close the enclosure.

8.2.2 Mounting in an Enclosure with an approved Type of Connection

• Secure the Fieldbus Terminator in the enclosure.
EN
• Connection cable must be rigidly installed, low-vibration fixture with cable tie.
• Connect the connection line to a suitable Ex e terminal.

• Close the enclosure.
