• Do not install the product in explosive areas and atmospheres: the pres-
ence of inflammable gas or fumes represents a serious safety hazard.

The packaging materials (plastic, polystyrene, etc.) should not
be discarded in the environment or left within reach of children,
as they are a potential source of danger.

2. INSTALLATION
Secure the function selector switch near the automation in a safe posi-
tion which is also suitable for use (ref. fig. 2-8).

Carry out the electrical connections indicated on page 2, 3.

4. OPERATING MODE
Enabling the use of the selector.
The different operation modes are selected by pushing their respective
symbols. The present selection is indicated by a blue light.
The following functions can be selected on the control panel (MCU) for
operation mode selector key lock.
Parameter B1= 00. No access code (not allowed in escape route, ac-
cording to EN16005 and DIN18650).
Parameter B1= 01. Hold for 2s (not allowed in escape route, according
to EN16005 and DIN18650).
Access is obtained by holding any mode selection button for 2 seconds.
Parameter B1= 02. Passcode (COM501ES).
Passcode can be selected where the access is obtained by briefly
pushing the buttons in correct order.
The entire passcode must be entered within 10 seconds.
The passcode can be changed through the DAS900CT.
Default passcode is
Parameter B1= 03. Key (only COM501ER)
To enable the use of the selector, rotate the key clockwise towards the sym-
bol

NOTE: When B1 is set to Hold for two sec (01), the access will be locked
5 seconds after a button has been pushed.

- A red light every 1 s. indicates an error. Carry out a RESET. If the error
persists, contact Technical Service.
- A yellow light every second is indicating that maintenance is due (parametro B2).
- A magenta light every second is indicating that STOP contact 1-3 is
active. E.g. a break-out door is standing open.
- A steady green light is displayed when the OMS is unlocked and B1 is
configured for Passcode (02) or Key (03).
- A green light is flashing 4 times per second when a new operation
mode has been selected but not yet confirmed.
- A green light will flash whenever a button is pressed while typing the
passcode.
- A green light will be displayed for 1 second when Mode Selector Key
Impulse (Parameter B8= 02) is given by holding
when the operation mode is OFF.
SYMBOL
OPEN
The door is permanently open. The door can be moved by hand e.g.
for window cleaning. All activation units except for the emergency
push button (if fitted) are disconnected.
PARTIAL
Two-way traffic, PARTIAL is obtained. The door can be opened par-
tially with the inner and outer activation units and with a key switch
(if fitted). With an emergency push-button the door opens fully.
AUTO
Two-way traffic, normal operation of the door. The door can be
opened with the inner and outer activation units and with a key
switch/emergency push-button (if fitted).
EXIT
Passage from inside only. The door is normally locked (unlocked
if escape route) if an electromechanical locking device has been
fitted. The door can only be openedwith the inner activation unit or
with a key switch/emergency push-button (if fitted).
OFF
In an escape route the OFF mode may only be set after it is certain
that all people have left the building.
The door cannot be opened with inner or outer activation units. The
door is locked if an electromechanical locking device has been fit-
ted. The door can be opened partially with a key switch (if fitted). The
door can be opened fully with an emergency pushbutton (if fitted).
The door can be opened partially from the operation mode selector
if
is pushed (based on how Key impulse is configured). This
function depends on how parameters B1 and B8 are set.
RESET
By briefly pushing the button placed in the hole accessible from the
underside of the OMS with a narrow object, the door operator will
make a RESET function with a system test. The door will then be
ready for normal operation.
5. ENTREMATIC DOOR CONNECT
With the app, Entrematic Door Connect, all the main operation mode
selector functionalities can be operated with a smartphone.
