5 Operation
5.1 General
The pump must not be operated in dry running mode (without water supply)!
The pump may be operated for max. 5 minutes with lance/jet nozzle in continuous operation,
without water discharge.
In order to avoid damage to the unit (EC-60), the water feed temperature must not exceed 40°
C.
The feed water from the piping system must be filtered with 300-400 µ. The water pressure
must not exceed 10 bar. Minimum water pressure 0.3 bar (at volume flow of 20 l/min),
otherwise no function of the motor.
If feed water is taken from a well or open water, it must be filtered with 100-200µ.
Do not drive the device over uneven terrain/overhanging objects! Rotation arm/nozzles can be
damaged/adjusted!
It is generally prohibited to reach under rotating parts - risk of injury!
1. Fold out the device bracket.
2. Turn on main valve (Fig. 1A/Fig. 1)
Important: It is essential to open the water
supply (main tap) before starting the
motor! (Fig. 1a/Fig. 1)
Always close the cross flushing (Fig. 4)
during the starting process.
If the engine has difficulty starting (often in cold
weather), turn the pressure adjustment valve () out
(counterclockwise). Once the engine is at operating
temperature, turn the pressure adjustment valve ()
back in (clockwise). (Figure 1B) →
