Assembly and operating instructions
INTRODUCTION
Dear Customer,
We'd like to thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the following operating
instructions thoroughly before using this product for the first time and keep it handy for
future reference (S1).
Please check the product before use for any damage.
PROPER USE
• The product conforms to the appropriate European CE directives (S2).
• This product conforms to the appropriate European safety standards.
• The product is spray-protected, IP44 and for use outdoors.
• Do not expose the product to water jets.
• The product is intended exclusively for household use or similar purposes. It must not be
used for commercial purposes!
• The product may only be used only for the purpose for which it is intended, in
accordance with this user manual!
• The product is not suitable for rough use (e.g. construction sites)!
• The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical,
sensory or mental abilities are limited or who lack experience and knowledge! These
persons may only use the product if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety, or if they have been inducted into how to use the product! The supervision and
use of this product must be carried out by a responsible person!
• Make sure that this product is kept out of the reach of children or unauthorised persons.
• Note direction of use (S3)!
GENERAL INFORMATION
• Handle this product carefully. It can be damaged by shocks, blows or by being dropped,
even from a low height!
• Disconnect the product's mains power plug in the event of a fault during operation.
• Only use the supplied original parts!
• Do not use additional components!
• This product has no replaceable parts. Do not attempt to open or repair this product!
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Observe technical data!
• Observe and keep the operating instructions!
• Pass on operating instructions to subsequent owners!
• Not intended for use by children!
• Do not operate or continue to use a damaged product!
• Must not be used in areas that represent an explosion hazard (e.g. carpentry workshop,
paintshop, or similar)!
• Do not use in the immediate vicinity of flammable materials!
• Do not install in the immediate vicinity of paddling pools, fountains, ponds or similar
bodies of water.
• Do not immerse in water or other liquids!
• Do not operate with wet hands!
• This product is suitable for normal household applications; it may not be used as a
safety device!
• Do not operate product covered (S4). This could lead to dangerous heat accumulation!
• The product must remain freely accessible (also when in use)!
• For the connection, only use regular mains sockets (230V~, 50Hz) with protective
conductors of the public supply network which are easily accessible!
• The splash water protection is only guaranteed if all plugs and sockets correspond to
the same protection class (IP44) and the plug is completely inserted (S5)!
• Do not open the housing, caution: risk of electric shock (S6)!
• A conversion or modification of the product affects product safety. Caution: risk of
injury! A conversion or modification of the product must not be carried out!
• Voltage-free only when the plug (S7) is pulled out!
• Do not operate the product's buttons with electrically conductive objects!
• Do not plug in one after the other (S8)!
• Do not operate the product at, on or in the vicinity of open flames (e.g. candles)!
• Do not expose the product to direct sun and shield it from extreme heat!
• Do not operate any devices whose unattended operation could endanger life and
property!
• Plugged-in power supply units must not exceed a temperature of 50°C.
• Only connect devices up to max. 3680W (ind. 460VA) total power!
SCOPE OF DELIVERY
Check the delivery for completeness and perfect condition.
In the case of missing parts or damage:
• do not mount the unit!
• do not put the unit into operation!
• make a complaint to the supplier.

FUNCTION
The programmed switching program repeats itself every 24 hours (daily timer). The smal-
lest switching interval is 30 minutes.
COMMISSIONING AND PROGRAM SETTING
1. The black switch pins located on the edge of the turntable are all pressed downwards
on delivery, i.e. in the switched-on state. Pull all switch pins upward
2. Turn the program wheel to the right in the direction of the arrow until the marking
triangle matches the current time of day. Corresponds to the current time of day.
3. Programming: Press the switching pins on the edge of the turntable (each stands for
30 minutes switching time). ON: Switch pins at bottom, OFF: Switch pins at top (S9).

CLEANING
• Unplug the product from the power outlet before cleaning!
• Clean with a dry or slightly moist, clean, lint-free cloth and a mild detergent if required.
Do not use cleaners that contain abrasives or solvents.
• Never spray for cleaning or use a steam pressure cleaner, as this may damage the
insulation and seals!
WEEE DISPOSAL INFORMATION
According to the European regulations, used electrical and electronic equipment may no
longer be put out into unsorted rubbish. The symbol on the wheeled rubbish bin points out
the necessity for separated collection. Help us to protect the environment and ensure that
this unit is put out in the appropriate systems for separate collection once you do not use it
any longer. DIRECTIVE OF THE EUOROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND COUNCIL of 4th July 2012
concerning used electrical and electronic equipment (S11).
