2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a)
Do not operate this unit if you are tired, ill or under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that
could impair your ability to operate the unit.
b)
The unit may be operated by persons who are
physically fit, capable of operating it and appropriately
trained, and who have read this instruction manual
and have been trained in occupational safety and
health.
c)
Use caution and common sense when operating this
unit. A moment's inattention during operation may
result in serious personal injury.
d)
To prevent accidental start-up, make sure the switch
is in the off position before connecting to a power
source.
e)
The unit is not a toy. Children should be watched to
ensure that they do not play with the unit.
2.4. SAFE USE OF THE UNIT
a)
Do not use the unit if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not turn on and off). Units
that cannot be controlled by the switch are unsafe,
cannot operate, and must be repaired.
b)
Unplug the unit before making adjustments, changing
accessories, or putting it away. This precaution
reduces the risk of accidental start-up.
c)
Keep the unit in good working condition. Check
before each use for general damage or damage to
moving parts (cracks in parts and components or any
other condition that may affect the safe operation of
the unit). If damaged, have the unit repaired before
use.
d)
Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
e)
Repairs and maintenance should be carried out by
qualified personnel using only original spare parts.
This will ensure the safety of use.
f)
To ensure the designed operational integrity of the
unit, do not remove factory-installed covers or loosen
screws.
g)
When transporting or moving the unit from storage
to the place of use, observe the health and safety rules
for manual handling applicable in the country where
the unit is used.
h)
Do not move, shift, or rotate the machine while in
operation.
i)
Do not leave the unit switched on unattended.
j)
Clean the unit regularly to prevent permanent dirt
build-up.

The unit is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be performed by children without adult
supervision.

Do not tamper with the unit to alter its performance
or design.

Keep the unit away from sources of fire and heat.

Do not block the ventilation openings of the unit!

CAUTION! Some parts of the unit become very hot
during operation - there is a danger of scalding! Do
not touch these parts with bare hands!

Place the unit on a heat-resistant surface!

The operating instructions must be available and
users must be instructed in the intended use of the
equipment. The operating instructions must be
available at the place of use at all times.
r)
Do not lean or place objects on the unit.
s)
Do not put flammable objects into the unit.
CAUTION! Although the product has been designed
to be safe, with adequate safeguards, and despite
the additional safety features provided to the user,
there is still a slight risk of accident or injury when
handling the unit. You are advised to use caution and
common sense when using this product.
3. RULES OF USE
The unit is designed for warming dishes.
The unit is designed for commercial use. The unit can be
used in restaurants, hotels, canteens etc. Use of the unit
in continuous mode for the mass production of food is
prohibited.
The user is responsible for any damage resulting from
misuse.

3.2. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and
ambient humidity should not exceed 85%. Place the
unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain
a minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the unit.
Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always operate
the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface
and out of the reach of children and persons of impaired
mental, sensory and intellectual functions. Place the unit in
such a way that the mains plug can be reached at any time.
Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds to
that specified on the identification plate!
Before initial use, wash the inside of the unit with a damp
cloth and mild detergent. Do not sprinkle with water. Only
wash when the machine is disconnected from the power
supply.
Apply the brakes on the wheels when the machine is not
being moved.

EQUIPOTENTIAL BONDING TERMINAL
An equipotential bonding terminal is located at the back
of the unit [9]. For additional protection against electric
shock, connecting the unit to an equipotential bonding
system before use is recommended. This operation should
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
3.3. WORKING WITH THE UNIT
a)
Connect the unit to the power supply. For the
RCPWS-84 model, the power light will illuminate at
this point.
b)
Insert the dishes to be heated into the appliance
compartment.
c)
For RCPWS-53 model only: turn on the appliance by
moving the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The
power indicator light will illuminate.
d)
Adjust the desired temperature using the knob on
the control panel. The heating indicator light will
illuminate and the unit will begin operation.
e)
Once the set temperature has been reached, the
unit will go into keep warm mode. The unit will
automatically maintain the set temperature by
cycling the heat off and on.
f)
To turn the unit off (depending on the model):
• RCPWS-53: turn the temperature control knob to
the OFF position, then turn the ON/OFF switch to the
OFF position.
•RCPWS-84: turn the temperature control knob to
the OFF position.
g)
Disconnect the unit from the power supply when not
in use.
CAUTION! Do not use metal objects with sharp edges to
remove heated dishes, as this may damage the surface of
the appliance.

3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

a)
Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down
completely before cleaning, adjusting or replacing
accessories and when the unit is not in use.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning
the surfaces.
c)
Only mild detergents designed for cleaning food
contact surfaces may be used to clean the unit.
d)
After each cleaning, all the parts should be dried well
before the unit is used again.
e)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from
moisture and direct sunlight.
f)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or
immerse it in water.
g)
Make sure that no water enters through the
ventilation openings in the casing.
h)
Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and
compressed air.
i)
Perform regular inspections of the unit checking
technical fitness and any damages.
j)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
k)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire
brush or metal spatula) for cleaning as they may
damage the surface of the unit material.
DISPOSAL OF USED UNITS.
At the end of its useful life, this product should not be
disposed of with normal household waste but should be
taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment.
