WARNING: If symbols S, F, B and A are not com-
mon to ocular and user manual, the lowest level is
to be assigned to the full protector.
Warning: These helmet mounted ear-muff s are of
« small size range » or « large size range »(as ap-
propriate). Helmet mounted earmuff s complying
with EN 352-3 are of « medium size range » or «
small size range » or « large size range ».
« Medium size range » helmet mounted ear-muff s
will fi t the majority of wearers. «Small size range»
or « large size range » helmet mounted ear-muff s
are designed to fi t wearers for whom « medium
size range » helmet mounted ear-muff s are not
suitable.
This product may be adversely aff ected by certain
chemical substances. Further information should
be sought from the manufacturer.
Ear-Muff s, and in particular cushions, may de-
teriorate with use and should be examined at
frequent intervals for cracking and leakage, for
example.
The fi tting of hygiene covers to the cushions may
aff ect the acoustic performance of the earmuff s.
5. Assembly
Insert the head strap (6) with all 4 tabs into
the inner mountings of the helmet (1) until
they engage (see fig. 1) .
Insert the mounts of the ear protectors (3) into
the lateral slots on the helmet (1) until they
click into place (see fig. 3) .
Attach the visor (2) with the mesh. To do this,
insert the mesh into the screen from below
until it clicks into place.
Now slide the assembled visor (2) into the
slots of the ear protectors (see fig. 4).
Flip the visor (2) forwards (see fig. 5).
Now slide the visor (2) into the slots of the ear
protectors (3) as far as it can go (see fig. 6).
6. Adjustments
6.1 Adjusting the head strap (fi g. 1)
Turn the head strap adjuster (4) to adjust the
head strap to fit your head.
The headband should fit your head snugly
when you put on the helmet.

Tighten the headband by turning the head
strap adjuster (4) clockwise.
Loosen the headband by turning the head
strap adjuster (4) anticlockwise.
The helmet must sit fi rmly on your head wit-
hout exerting uncomfortable pressure.
CAUTION!
Always make sure that the helmet is adjusted cor-
rectly when using it.
6.2 Adjusting the ear protectors (fi g. 7–9)
You can adjust the height and position of the ear
protectors (3).
Push down the bracket of the ear protectors
(3) to lock the ear protectors onto your ears.
Slide the ear protectors (3) up or down to set
them to the required height (see fig. 7).
Turn the ear protectors (3) to set them to the
required position (see fig. 7).
Flipping the ear protectors (3) outwards ma-
kes it easier to put them on or take them off. If
this causes the tension to decrease, use the
ear protector adjuster (3) to retighten it.
Slide the ear protector adjuster (3) towards
the "+" to increase the tension (see fig . 9).
Slide the ear protector adjuster (3) towards
the "–" to decrease the tension (see fig . 9) .
6.3 Adjusting the visor (fi g. 10)
You can adjust the distance between the visor (2)
and your face by moving the visor manually (see
fi g . 10). Alternatively, you can fl ip the visor (2) all
the way up.
7. Maintenance, cleaning, storage
and transportation
Examine the components for damage and
signs of wear before each use.
Replace the ear pads of the ear protectors as
required but at least every 6 months. To do
this, simply pull out the ear pads and insert
the new pads in the right position. Use origi-
nal spare parts only.
Always clean the helmet after finishing your
work.
Use a moistened cloth to clean the helmet,
ear protectors and visor . Never use petrol,
solvents or cleansers which can damage
plastic.
To disinfect the helmet and ear protectors,
use only cleaning agents that do not contain
