Instruction
OPERATION
This kettle quickly brings 1.8 l of water to the boil. It
detaches from the base for more practical use. The
kettle is equipped with an indicator lamp and boil-
dry protection. The built-in thermometer also makes it
possible to read off the temperature of the water at any
time.

USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• Remove all the packaging from the appliance.
• Clean the appliance (see 'Cleaning and
maintenance' on page 21).
• First boil a full jug of water in accordance with the
procedure in 'Using the appliance' on page 20, in
order to clean the jug.
• Dispose of the boiled water. If you then refill the
kettle with water, the boil-dry protection cools down
and the kettle is again ready for normal use.
• Continue with the procedure in 'Using the appliance'
on page 20.

USING THE APPLIANCE

• Use the kettle only with the base provided.
• Remove the kettle from its base, to avoid spilling
water on the base during filling.
• Open the lid.
