• Place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface and
not, for example, on varnished furniture.
• Place the appliance at least 50 cm from walls and
inflammable materials (such as curtains, candles
and fabrics).
• Place the appliance on a stable and flat surface, not
too close to hot objects or naked flames (such as
hobs or hotplates).
• Keep pressurised aerosol dispensers away from the
machine as they may damage the carbon brush in
the motor.
• Remove the plug from its socket when the appliance
is not in use and for cleaning.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp
edges, and keep it away from hot objects and naked
flames.
• Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug
show any signs of damage, if the appliance has
fallen on the ground or in the event of any other
form of damage. If any of the above occur then the
appliance to a qualified person to have it inspected
and, if necessary, repaired.
• Never allow unsupervised children to use electrical
household appliances. Children are unable to
assess the dangers associated with the incorrect use
of electrical appliances.
• Children who are close to the appliance or who are
using it must always be kept under adult supervision.
• Never leave the appliance unattended whilst it is in
use.
Instruction
• Always pick up this appliance by its handle: some
parts become hot during use. You may suffer a
serious burn if you touch hot parts of the appliance.
• The kettle in intended for boiling water only. Do not
use for other fluids or solutions.
• Pay attention to steam and hot water during use.

Do not remove the lid while the water is
boiling.
