Safety instructions
•
For the safety of your child, take a few minutes to read these instructions.
Many accidents that can easily be avoided are caused by carelessness or
incorrect use.
•
Read the instructions carefully before use and keep them in a safe place
for future reference. Place these instructions (if possible) in the child seat.
•
This child seat may only be used in vehicles with three-point belts.
•
This child car seat is a vehicle-specific product that must not be used at
home, but only in the car.
•
Always check carefully that the child seat is securely fastened before
driving off and before leaving the vehicle.
•
Do not make any modifications to the child seat.
•
Never leave children unattended in the car, even if they are in a child seat.
•
Do not leave the seat belt buckle in a half-locked position. The child can be
released from the seat immediately in an emergency. Teach your child not
to play with the seat belt buckle.
•
Prevent children from being exposed to direct sunlight. High
temperatures can damage children's skin.
•
Make sure that all parts of the child seat are in the correct position and
cannot get jammed in the car seat or door.
•
Stow safely all objects that could damage the child seat in the event of an
accident.
•
Do not use the safety seat without the fabric cover.
•
If you want to replace the fabric cover, use only fabric covers
recommended by the manufacturer.
•
Inspect the child seat regularly. Check connecting parts, seams and
adjusting devices with special care.
•
If your child seat is damaged in an accident or becomes detached, it must
not be used any further.
•
The backrest of the child seat should rest evenly against the car seat. If
necessary, the height of the headrest can be adjusted.
•
Even if there is no child in the child seat, all car occupants should wear
their seat belts. Also secure the empty child seat in the car with the vehicle
safety belt.
•
Do not use any other fastening options than those specified in the
instructions and on the child seat.
