• Ensure that the product does not come into
contact with stones, gravel or sharp objects,
particularly when inflated, and do not allow it
to rub or scrape against rough surfaces as this
can cause damage.
• Only insert a suitable pump adapter into the
safety valves. Otherwise the valves could be
damaged.
• Do not use a compressor to inflate the
product.
• Do not over-inflate – this can result in the
seams splitting open. Ensure the valve is firmly
closed after inflating.
• Avoid contact with corrosive, pointy or
hazardous items, chemicals or liquids. Should
this happen regardless, check the board
thoroughly for leaks or other damage.
• Keep the product away from fire and hot items
(e.g. lit cigarettes).
• Do not transport the board on vehicles while
inflated.
Assembly
Follow the step-by-step assembly instructions in
the order given.
1. Select a suitable area that is clean and
smooth and has enough room to unpack
and unfold the product. Make sure that all
the parts are included and are in perfect
condition.
2. When assembling the product for the second
time, and subsequently, check for any
damage, holes or tears and seal them as
described further on. Once you are on the
water, it is too late to repair any damage.
Assembling the paddle (Fig. C)
1. Release the locking lever (10a) on the
extension pole (10).
2. Insert the paddle handle (11) into the
extension pole (10).
3. Extend the paddle handle out of the extension
pole to the desired length.
Note: please refer to the section 'Adjusting the
paddle length' to set the correct length of the
paddle handle.
4. Press the locking lever (10a) on the extension
pole to lock the paddle handle.
5. Attach the open end of the extension pole to
the end of the paddle blade (12). The pin of
the paddle handle must audibly click into the
pin drill hole of the extension pole.
Note: proceed in the reverse order to
disassemble the product.
Adjusting the paddle length
Before use, adjust the paddle length to your
body size. There are no universal guidelines
determining the correct length for any body
size. We recommend following this formula to
determine the correct length: Total height of
person + 20cm (8 inches)
You can also determine the paddle length in the
following way:
1. Extend your non-dominant arm upwards.
2. Use your other hand to place the paddle
under your outstretched arm.
3. Extend or shorten the paddle until it fits under
the wrist of the outstretched arm.
Important: do not pull the paddle handle (11)
out of the extension pole (10) past the 'STOP'
mark.
Otherwise, an appropriate level of stability
cannot be guaranteed.
Inflating the board
WARNING!
• The recommended operating pressure is 1bar
(15psi).
• Avoid over-inflation, otherwise you risk
overstretching the seams, or even splitting
them.
• The air pressure can increase when exposed
to the sun. Compensate the air pressure by
releasing air from the board.
• Use commercially available foot pumps
or double-action hand pumps with the
appropriate attachments and pressure gauge
to inflate the product.
• Do not use a compressor or compressed air
canister to inflate the product. This can lead to
damage.
• Always fully inflate the board.
• Do not inflate the board near sharp or pointed
objects, or on rough or stony ground.
IMPORTANT!
• Only open the valve to inflate and deflate.
Otherwise it can become contaminated.
• The area around the valve must always be
clean and dry.
• Ensure that sand or other contaminants do not
get into the valve.
• Switch the lever of the pump in order to
alternate between double action and single
action.
Inflation sequence
Inflate the chambers in the following sequence:
1. - inner air chamber 0.8bar
2. - outer air chamber 1.0bar
Inflating the air chambers
Important!
• The optimal operating pressure for
both air chambers is 1bar.
• The outer air chamber
after inflation and pushes against
the inner air chamber
causes the operating pressure of the
inner air chamber to increase from
0.8 to 1bar.
• Because fluctuations may occur,
check the air pressure in the inner
air chamber once more after
inflating the outer air chamber
and adjust the operating pressure
accordingly, if necessary.
1. Screw the nut thread of the hose (9b) onto the
thread of the air pump (9a) (Fig. D).
Note: ensure that you screw the hose onto the
thread marked 'INF'.
2. Twist the valve cover (1h) out of the valve (1i)
anti-clockwise (Fig. E).
3. Place the end of the hose (9b) onto the valve
and screw it on tightly clockwise (Fig. E).
Note: the valve pin (1j) must be in the closed
position when doing so (Fig. F).
4. Inflate the inner air chamber
of 0.8bar (12psi) with the air pump.
5. Stop inflating once the pressure gauge
indicates 0.8bar, i.e. 12psi.
6. Inflate the outer air chamber
maximum of 1bar (15psi) with the air pump.
7. Stop inflating once the pressure gauge
indicates 1bar, i.e. 15psi.
8. Turn the end of the hose anti-clockwise to
remove it from the valve, and place the valve
cover onto the valve.
9. Turn the valve cover clockwise to tighten it.
Check the operating pressure in the inner air
chamber
and adjust it if necessary.
Mounting the centreboard (Fig. G)
1. Screw the metal plate (7a) off the bolt (7b)
and slide the metal plate into the guide rail of
the centreboard case (1e).
Note: slide the metal plate (7a) all the way to
the front.
2. Also place the guide pin of the centreboard
(7) in the slot and slide the centreboard into
the centreboard case.
3. Ensure that the drill hole of the centreboard
(7) sits exactly above the thread of the plate
(7a), in order to be able to fix the centreboard
in place with the screw (7b).
Note: to adjust it length-wise, loosen the
fastening screw by a few rotations.
After adjusting, tighten the screw again.
Disassembling the paddle
Proceed in the reverse order to disassemble the
centreboard.
Mounting the US fin (Fig. H)
1. Screw the metal plate (8a) off the bolt (8b)
and slide the metal plate in the guide rail of
the fin case (1g).
Note: slide the metal plate (8a) all the way to
the front.
2. Place the guide pin of the US fin (8) in the slot
as well and slide the fin into the fin case.
3. Ensure that the drill hole of the US fin (8) sits
exactly above the thread of the plate (8a),
in order to fix the fin in place with the screw
(8b).
Note: to adjust it length-wise, loosen the
expands
fastening screw by a few rotations.
After adjusting, tighten the screw again.

Removing the US fin
Proceed in the reverse order to disassemble the
fin.
Mounting the rig
Trimming the sail
1. Insert the two mast tubes (3a) and (3b) into
each other (Fig. I). The locking button must
visibly engage.
2. Spread the sail (2) and insert the mast (3) into
the mast tunnel in the sail (2a) (Fig. J).
Note: make sure that the opening of the tube is
pointing downwards.
3. Pull on the straps (2b), in order to tighten the
sail battens (Fig. K).
4. Attach the mast (3) to the mast extension (5)
(Fig. L).
