IMPORTANT WARNINGS

1. This machine must be connected to the same mains voltage as shown on
the rating plate.
2. This machine is not suitable for picking up health endangering dust.
3. This machine is for dry use only and shall not be used or stored outdoors
in wet conditions. Store indoors between max. 60
and min. 0 C (degrees centigrade).

4. This machine is not suitable for removing any kind of liquid.
5. Carpets treated with a liquid cleaner must be allowed to dry before being
cleaned with the machine.
6. The machine must not be used for picking up combustible or explosive
materials, nor should it be used in an explosive atmosphere.
7. Never use your machine to vacuum matches, glowing embers, or cigarette-
ends. Avoid vacuuming hard, pointed objects, since they may damage the
machine or dust bag.
8. Never operate the machine without a dust bag.
9. The cover cannot be closed if a dust bag is not inserted. Please do not
close forcibly.
10. Keep children away from this machine. If must not be used on people or
animals.
11. If your machine has a fault, please contact your electrical retailer or an
authorized service agent.
12. If the mains cable is defective, the complete cable winder must be
replaced by a service agent.
13. The plug must always be removed from the socket outlet before starting
any service work of the machine or the cord.
14. No changes or modifications to the mechanical or electrical safety devices
should be made.
