b) Playing audio files from USB and SD storage media
The device is equipped with a USB port (5) and an SD memory card reader (2). You can play audio files from these
storage media (see "Technical data" at the end of this manual for details on supported file formats).
Do not connect a battery-operated MP3 player to the USB port (5). The power supplied via the
USB port (5) can charge the batteries and thus cause them to overheat and even explode.
The device supports USB storage media and SD memory cards up to 32 GB.
The USB port (5) only supports USB storage media. MP3 players with a USB port automatically switch to
the PC mode when plugged into this port. Playback of audio files is not possible in this mode.
We cannot guarantee that all USB and SD storage media will be recognised due to their manufacturer-
specific functions and that the functionality of those recognised will not be restricted.
If your USB storage medium or SD memory card is not recognised, try reconnecting it to the device.
1. Plug your USB storage medium into the USB port (5) and your SD memory card into the SD memory card
reader (2).
2. The device will automatically switch to respective input and the playback will start.
