Handling the remote
control
In standby, only the currently set operable unit ,
e.g. HIFI, is shown in the top line of the display
(except for D-BOX).
When you press a key, the operable unit is
maximized and the possible functions for the
keys F1...F3 are displayed additionally. An
arrow above the key F4 indicates that other
function levels can be selected with this key.

Please note:

The large display for HiFi is switched off after
about one minute, for the other functions, e.g.

TV, VTR, DVD or D-BOX after about 20
seconds, if no other key is pressed. This reduces
the battery power consumption.
The remote control is reactivated and the
appropriate function performed by pressing a
i
key.
You activate the HiFi control directly with the
[ HiFi ] key.
HIFI
F1
Select HiFi function:
Press this key.
Operate other units:
By pressing this key on the
remote control you select the
Loewe unit, e.g. TV, to be
operated, press again VTR etc.
With the F1... F3 keys you can
switch a function on/off, change
a setting or open a setting menu.
With the up/down key you select
a line in a "menu".
With the right/left key you select
a "function" or change a setting.
You confirm the selection with
OK.

Press the "Mute" key if the
sound is to be turned off
temporarily.
Press the same key again to hear
the sound again at the same
volume as previously.
With this key you switch the unit
off (to standby) or back on from
standby.
