1.
Intended use
This stopwatch allows you to measure elapsed time, split times and two lap times. It can record the lap times
and display the average, best and slowest lap time information. The countdown function of the stopwatch
provides a two-stage audible alert and the pacer function provides audible beats for keeping a stable tempo
during activities such as running or cycling. It features an alarm function and it also displays the time and date.
The stopwatch is powered by a CR2032 button cell battery.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, fi re, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the wnty/guarantee.
Persons / Product
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
fl ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

is visibly damaged,
-
is no longer working properly,
-
has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
-
has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the
product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the
product.
Batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the battery.
The battery should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage
through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore
use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave the battery lying around, as there is risk, that
children or pets swallow it.
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fi re. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
Miscellaneous
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
Maintenance, modifi cations and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualifi ed
shop.

5.
Battery insertion / replacement
1.
Turn the battery compartment cover at the back of the stopwatch in a anti-clockwise direction with a coin
until the dot on the cover meet the lower dot on the case.
2.
Remove the battery compartment cover.
3.
To remove the old battery, use a long, thin tool, such as a slot screwdriver, to pry out the battery.
4.
Insert a new battery while observing the correct polarity, with the positive side facing upwards.
5.
Close the battery compartment. Lock it by turning the battery compartment cover in a clockwise direction
until the dot on the cover meets the upper dot on the case.

Operation
Mode switching
Press the button D to switch between modes : Clock and alarm mode > Chronometry mode > Countdown
mode > Pacer mode.
Clock and alarm mode
The day of the week, alarm time, date and current time is shown on the display from the top to the bottom
accordingly in this mode.
1.
Switch to the clock and alarm mode by pressing the button D.
2.
Press and hold the button B to enter the clock and alarm settings. If you need to exit the clock and alarm
settings in the middle of the steps, press the button D.
3.
The hours setting of the alarm now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. If the clock is set to 12-
hr mode, the letter « A » or « P » on the right hand side of the display is indicating the alarm is set in the
morning (« A ») or the afternoon (« P »). Press the button B to confi rm.
4.
The fi rst digit of the minutes setting of the alarm now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. Press
the button B to confi rm.
5.
The second digit of the minutes setting of the alarm now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value.
Press the button B to confi rm.
6.
The word « ON » or « OFF » now fl ashes, indicating the alarm function is turned on (« ON ») or off (« OFF
»). Press the button A to turn it on or off. Press the button B to confi rm.
7.
The fi rst digit of the years setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. Press the
button B to confi rm.
8.
The second digit of the years setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. Press
the button B to confi rm.
9.
The months setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. Press the button B to
confi rm.
10.
The date setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. Press the button B to
confi rm.
11.
The word « 12H » or « 24H » now fl ashes, indicating the time format of the stopwatch is in 12-hr standard
or in 24-hr standard. Press the button A to change it. Note that the format of the date is also changed when
this setting is changed. Press the button B to confi rm.

The hours setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. If the clock is set to 12-hr
mode, the letter « A » or « P » on the left-hand side of the display is indicating the clock is set for the morning
(« A ») or the afternoon (« P »). Press the button B to confi rm.
13.
The fi rst digit of the minutes setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value. Press
the button B to confi rm.
14.
The second digit of the minutes setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to adjust the value.
Press the button B to confi rm.
15.
The seconds setting of the clock now fl ashes; press the button A to set the seconds to zero. Press the button
B to confi rm and exit the clock and alarm setting.
In the clock and alarm mode, press the button C to turn on or off the alarm function. If the alarm
is on, the alarm symbol will be shown.
Chronometry mode
1.
Switch to the chronometry mode by pressing the button D.
2.
Press the button A to start the chronometer.
3.
Press the button B when a lap is completed, press the button A again to stop the chronometer.

The fi rst line on the display, "CHRONO", shows the number of laps that have been completed.

The second line on the display "LAP" shows the time of the last lap
-
The third line on the display "SPLIT" shows the total time used for the completed laps from the start.
-
The last line on the display shows the total time used from the start.
4.
Press the button C to view the average lap time ("AVE"), press the button C again to view the best lap time
("BES"), and press once more to view the slowest lap time ("SLO"). Press the button D to go back to the
chronometer screen.
5.
Press the button A or B to view the individual lap time when the average lap time, fastest lap time or the
slowest lap time is showing on the display. Press the button A or B to browse forward or backward.Press the
button D to go back to the chronometer screen.
The time information for 100 laps can be stored in the stopwatch.
6.
Press the button B to reset the chronometer when the chronometer is stopped. The average lap time, fastest
lap time, slowest lap time and the individual lap records will be stored until a new timing session is started.
Countdown mode
1.
Switch to the countdown mode by pressing the button D.
2.
Press and hold the button B to set the fi rst countdown time. The fi rst digit is now fl ashing. From the left to
the right: HH:MM:SS (hours, minutes, seconds).
3.
Press the button A to adjust the value and press the button B to shift the cursor to the next digit.
The maximum countdown time is 9 hrs 59 mins 59 s.
4.
Repeat step 2 until the fi rst countdown time is set.
5.
Set the second countdown time by repeating step 2. If you want to disable the second countdown function,
do not set the second countdown time.
6.
The countdown time is set when all digits stop fl ashing.
7.
Press the button A to start the countdown.
8.
When the time of the fi rst countdown is reached, four beep sounds are emitted. Then the second countdown
will start immediately. When the time of the second countdown is reached, two beep sounds are emitted.
If the second countdown is disabled, fi ve beep sounds will be emitted when the fi rst countdown time is
reached.
9.
A counter on the bottom right corner of the display shows the total number of completed countdowns. Note
that only a complete set of countdowns (the fi rst and the second countdown) is counted. If the second
countdown is disabled, the counter counts whenever the fi rst countdown is completed.
10.
Press the button A again to stop the countdown.
Pacer mode
1.
Switch to the pacer mode by pressing the button D.
2.
The number at the bottom right corner of the display fl ashes when you enter the pacer mode. This is the
frequency (in the unit Hz) of the pacer. Press the button B to adjust the value between 10, 20, 30, 40, 60,
80, 120, 160, 200, 220, 240 and 320.
e.g. 10 Hz = 10 beats in 60 sec, 60 Hz = 60 bests in 60 sec.
3.
Press the button A to confi rm and start the pacer. The word "PACE" will fl ash. A beep sound is emitted
regularly in the interval, which has been set before.
4.
The counter in the middle of the display will count the number of the beats.
5.
Press the button A to stop the pacer.
6.
Press the button B to reset the number of the beats.
7.
Press and hold the button B to set the frequency when the value of the pace is reset.
Backlight
Press the button E to turn the backlight on for three seconds.

symbol indicates that the product is forbidden to be disposed via the domestic refuse. The
chemical symbols for the respective hazardous substances are Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead.
You can return used batteries/ rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point of your
local authority, our stores or where batteries/ rechargeable batteries are sold.
