Level indication
ON/OFF button
ON/OFF operation and JP 1
The device is activated by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Depending on JP1, the ventilation runs at minimum volume or shut-off mode in OFF mode.
- If JP1 is in position 1-2, in OFF mode the output is 0 VDC. Ventilation switches off.
- If JP1 is in position 2-3, in OFF mode the output stays in level 0 (minimum air volume).
Manual operation
If a sensor signal is detected at the input, the automatic operation of the device is enabled.
The following operation modes will be activated through repeated pressing of the level button:
• Level 0 = Minimum volume
(Minimum)
• Level 1 = Normal volume
(Normal)
• Level 2 = High volume
(Maximum)
• Level 3 = Maximum volume
(Party)
• AUTO operation
The operating modes are activated only after 3 seconds. This prevents unnecessary switching
when setting the device. The level-indication and buttons light up in green or blue depending on
the type of device.
The device is equipped with proximity detection. When approaching a distance of approx. 10
cm, the luminosity of the LED increases. After 30 seconds without interaction, the LEDs dim
down again and thus save energy.
AUTO operation
IP08 defines a time delay after which the unit returns to automatic operation once placed into
manual.
Level Mode (IP00=ON)
The ventilation level is then activated based on the sensor signal and the limits defined under
IP04 – IP06 Setting a level limit of IP05 – IP06 to 0, deactivates this level for automatic mode.
The sensor signal will then not be able to activate this particular level.
Continuous Mode (IP00=OFF)
The ventilation is controlled gradually by the sensor signal. Instead of level steps, the output
voltage is adjusted continuously. The sensor minimum and sensor maximum of the linear range
can be set with IP04 and IP06. The output voltage then behaves linearly between OP00 and
OP03.
Parameter copy
It is now possible to copy settings to an accessory (AEC-PM2) and to copy them back to other
MZ3. For this, remove the front panel of the MZ3, insert AEC-PM2 in the designated plug.
Connect OPA-S and copy parameter from MZ3 to AEC-PM2 by setting OP06 to 1.
AEC-PM2 "Data" LED is ON for 5 seconds after successful parameter copy and OP06 is set to
0. If the parameter copy failed the LED blinks for 5 seconds and OP06 is set to 7.
Copy parameter from AEC-PM2 to MZ3 simply by pressing the "Copy" button on the AEC-PM2.
AEC-PM2 "Data" LED is ON for 5 seconds after successful parameter copy. If the parameter
copy failed the LED blinks for 5 seconds.

EIN/AUS-Betrieb und JP1
Das Gerät wird durch Drücken der EIN/AUS-Taste ein- oder ausgeschaltet.
Abhängig von JP1 läuft die Ventilation im AUS-Betrieb auf minimal Volumen oder Sperrbetrieb.
- Bei JP1 auf Position 1-2, wird der Ausgang im AUS-Betrieb stromlos geschaltet (Sperrbetrieb).
- Bei JP1 auf Position 2-3, bleibt der Ausgang im AUS-Betrieb auf Stufe 0 (minimal Volumen).
Manueller Betrieb
Durch wiederholtes Drücken der Stufen-Taste werden folgende Betriebsarten der Reihe nach
aktiviert:
• Stufe 0 = minimal Volumen
• Stufe 1 = normal Volumen
• Stufe 2 = hohes Volumen
• Stufe 3 = maximal Volumen
• AUTO-Betrieb
Die Betriebsarten werden erst nach 3 Sekunden aktiviert. Dies verhindert unnötiges Schalten beim
Einstellen des Gerätes. Die Stufen und Tasten leuchten je nach Gerätetyp in grüner oder blauer
Farbe.
Der Stufenschalter verfügt über eine berührungslose Annäherungserkennung. Bei Annäherung auf
eine Distanz von ca. 10 cm erhöht sich die Leuchtkraft der LED. Nach 30 Sekunden ohne
Interaktion mit dem Gerät dimmen die LED wieder ab und sparen damit Energie
AUTO-Betrieb
IP08 definiert eine Zeitverzögerung, nach der das Gerät in den Automatikbetrieb zurückkehrt, falls
es in den manuellen Betrieb versetzt wurde.
Stufen-Betrieb (IP00=ON)
Die Lüfterstufen werden abhängig vom Sensorsignal und den unter IP04 - IP06 definierten
Grenzwerten aktiviert. Die Einstellung eines Grenzwertes von IP05 - IP06 auf 0 deaktiviert diese
Stufe für den Automatikbetrieb. Das Sensorsignal ist dann nicht in der Lage, diese Stufe zu
aktivieren.
Stufenlos-Betrieb (IP00=OFF)
Die Lüftung wird stufenlos vom Sensorsignal geregelt. Anstatt in Stufen wird die Ausgangsspannung
kontinuierlich angepasst. Das Sensor-Minimum und Sensor-Maximum des linearen Bereiches kann
mit IP04 und IP06 eingestellt werden. Die Ausgangsspannung verhält sich dann zwischen OP00
und OP03 linear.
Parameter kopieren
Es ist jetzt möglich, Einstellungen auf ein Zubehörteil (AEC-PM2) zu kopieren und sie auf andere
MZ3 zu übertragen.
Dazu die Frontplatte des MZ3 entfernen, AEC-PM2 in den dafür vorgesehenen Stecker einsetzen.
OPA-S anschließen und Parameter von MZ3 zu AEC-PM2 kopieren, indem OP06 auf 1 gesetzt
wird. Die "Daten"-LED des AEC-PM2 leuchtet nach erfolgreichem Parameterkopieren 5 Sekunden
lang und OP06 wird auf 0 gesetzt. Wenn das Parameterkopieren fehlgeschlagen ist, blinkt die LED
5 Sekunden lang und OP06 wird auf 7 gesetzt.
Die Parameter von AEC-PM2 nach MZ3 einfach durch Drücken der "Copy"-Taste auf dem AEC-
PM2 kopieren. Die "Daten"-LED des AEC-PM2 leuchtet nach dem erfolgreichen Kopieren der
Parameter 5 Sekunden lang. Wenn die Parameterkopie fehlgeschlagen ist, blinkt die LED für 5
Sekunden.

Opération ON/OFF et JP 1
L'appareil s'allume ou s'éteint en appuyant sur la touche ON/OFF.
Selon le JP1, la ventilation fonctionne en mode OFF au volume minimum ou en mode bloqué.
- Si JP1 est en position 1-2, en mode OFF la sortie est de 0 VDC. La ventilation est désactivée.
- Si JP1 est en position 2-3, en mode OFF la sortie reste au niveau 0 (volume d'air minimum).
Le mode manuel
Les modes de fonctionnement suivants sont activés séquentiellement en appuyant plusieurs fois
les étapes clés
:
• Niveau 0 = volume minimal
(Minimum)
• Niveau 1 = normal volume
(Normal)
• Niveau 2 = haut volume
(Maximum)
• Niveau 3 = volume maximum (Party)
• Le mode AUTO
Les modes de fonctionnement sont activés seulement au bout de 3 secondes. Cela empêche la
commutation inutile lorsque le réglage du dispositif. Les niveaux et les boutons s'allument en
vert ou en bleu, selon le type d'appareil.
L'appareil est équipé d'une détection de proximité sans contact. En s'approchant d'une distance
d'environ 10 cm, la luminosité de la LED augmente. Après 30 secondes sans interaction avec
l'appareil, les DEL s'éteignent à nouveau et économisent ainsi de l'énergie.
Le mode AUTO
IP08 définit un délai après lequel l'appareil revient en fonctionnement automatique une fois
placé en manuel.
Fonctionnement par niveau (IP00=ON)
Le niveau de ventilation est alors activé en fonction du signal du capteur et des limites définies
sous IP04 - IP06 Le réglage d'une limite de niveau de IP05 - IP06 à 0, désactive ce niveau pour
le mode automatique. Le signal du capteur ne pourra alors pas activer ce niveau particulier.
Fonctionnement en continu (IP00=OFF)
La ventilation est contrôlée progressivement par le signal du capteur. Au lieu de paliers de
niveau, la tension de sortie est ajustée en continu. Le minimum et le maximum du capteur de la
plage linéaire peuvent être réglés avec IP04 et IP06. La tension de sortie se comporte alors de
manière linéaire entre OP00 et OP03.
Copie des paramètres
Il est maintenant possible de copier les paramètres sur un accessoire (AEC-PM2) et de les
copier sur d'autres MZ3. Pour ce faire, retirez le panneau avant du MZ3, insérez l'AEC-PM2
dans la prise prévue à cet effet. Connectez l'OPA-S et copiez les paramètres du MZ3 vers
l'AEC-PM2 en réglant OP06 sur 1 avec l'OPA-S. La DEL "Data" de l'AEC-PM2 est allumée
pendant 5 secondes après la copie réussie des paramètres et OP06 est réglé sur 0. Si la copie
des paramètres a échoué, la DEL clignote pendant 5 secondes et OP06 est réglé sur 7.
Copiez les paramètres de l'AEC-PM2 vers le MZ3 en appuyant simplement sur le bouton "Copy"
de l'AEC-PM2.
La DEL "Data" de l'AEC-PM2 est allumée pendant 5 secondes après la copie réussie des
paramètres. Si la copie des paramètres a échoué, la DEL clignote pendant 5 secondes.
