SECURITY SYSTEM

• When water boils, the appliance turns off automatically. Your appliance has
automatically self-closing feature in terms of energy saving, security and convenience.
• Waterless Operation Protection; if your appliance is operated while it is empty
by mistake, waterless boiling protection is activated and then, cut the energy
automatically. In such case, wait for your appliance to cool down completely by
removing the plug from the socket.
• Before cleaning your appliance, ALWAYS read the important safeguards.
• bEFORE CLEANING, ALWAYS TURN OFF YOUR APPLIANCE bY
PRESSING ON/OFF SWITCH; ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR APPLIANCE AND
WAIT FOR YOUR APPLIANCE TO COOL DOWN.
• Discharge the water in your kettle and wipe the exterior with a dry or damp cloth.
• NEvER clean it by immersing the energy transmission base of your kettle and
your kettle in water or washing it in the dishwasher.
• Do not clean any accessories of your appliance by using hard and chemical
cleaners (bleacher, hydrochloric acid etc.) other than cleaners prepared specifically
for these types of appliances.
• NEvER wet cord and plug of your appliance. If it gets wet, unplug it and dry the
cord and plug properly.
Cleaning Water Filter;
• Water filter is located on the inner part of the mouth.
This filter keeps limescale and impurities which can be
found in water.
• Water filter should be kept under water after each
use and should be cleaned with a soft brush.
• If an excessive amount of limescale has accumulated
on the water filter;
- Put the water filter into a container and fill the
container with white vinegar (or citric acid),
- Keep waiting for half an hour,
- Then, keep the water filter under hot water until whole limescale and vinegar
traces are cleared of.
• Cleaning frequency is subject to use frequency of appliance and the environment
where appliance is located (such as dusty environments).
• NEvER use dishwashing detergent or special limescale cleaners while cleaning the
water filter.

DECALCIFICATION
• Periodical decalcification within kettle is important in
terms of hygiene and energy saving.
• Discharging water which remains inside your
appliance after each use and using water which contains
less mineral instead of hard water will reduce the
decalcification.
• Limescale within the water used will accumulate and
burn on the base of heater in the course of time and will
create a brown layer and reduce the efficiency of your heater.
• Soft calcification on the base can be easily cleaned with a brush. (Do not forget to
unplug your appliance before performing this operation.)
• You can remove deposited hard calcification with vinegar or decalcifiers which are
sold for household appliances on the market.
• For cleaning with decalcifier; after boiling some water in your appliance, mix the
decalcifier into boiled water. After waiting for a while, boil your heater for more 2-3
min. and discharge the inside, and rinse with clean water for 2-3 times.
• For cleaning with white vinegar; keep waiting for 1 hour by filling your appliance
with half a liter of white vinegar and then, discharge the vinegar and rinse your
appliance with clean water for 2-3 times.
