WARNINGS
Read instructions carefully before installation and
operation.
Keep instructions for future reference and hand
them over to any new user.
To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury and death:
• Do not install the product in a location or at a height where unsuper-
vised chidren may be present.
• Disconnect mains supply before carrying out any maintenance or ser-
vice work and ensure that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally.
Safety
• VELUX roller blind RMM must be installed more than 8 feet (2.44 m)
above the floor.
• The product is intended for use by persons with the relative experience
and knowledge or persons who have been given instruction concerning
its use by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
control for the product. It should be fitted out of reach of children at a
minimum height of 4 feet (1.2 m).
• The product must not be put into operation until it has been fitted
according to these instructions.
• Before operating, ensure that the product can be operated without risk
of damage to property or injury to people or animals.
• Do not operate the product if repair or adjustment is required.
• The product has a Class 2 Low Voltage input (19-24 V d.c.).
• The term "IC:" before the device certification number signifies that the
Industry Canada technical specifications were met.
Product
• The product has been designed for use with genuine VELUX products.
Connection to other products may cause damage or malfunction.
• Sound pressure level: L
• Electrical products must be disposed of in conformity with all local
codes, ordinances, rules and regulations for electronic waste and not
with household waste.
• The packaging can be disposed of with usual household waste.
• To remove the product, please contact your VELUX sales company.
