Manual
When using the model for the first time, be sure to jack it up so that the wheels can rotate freely and adjustments to the transmitter can be
made easily, if necessary.
Transmitter
Follow the power-up order:
1.
Throttle/brake level in neutral position
2.
Steering lever in neutral position
3.
Switch on the transmitter first and only then the model. Otherwise, unpredictable reactions may occur!
For starting, park the model so that the wheels and the actuator can rotate freely.
Check the reaction of the servos to the remote control signals on the stationary model.
Make sure that the batteries of the transmitter and receiver are fully charged!
Weak batteries reduce the transmitter range and lead to errors in the signal transmission to the receiver. As a result, the model will no
longer respond correctly to the remote control. Stop operation immediately and replace the batteries with new ones or recharge them.
Do not drive near high-voltage power lines, radio masts or during thunderstorms. Electric fields and atmospheric disturbances can affect
the signals of your remote control transmitter.
After operation, switch off the model first, then the transmitter.
For safety and certification reasons (CE), unauthorized attempts to repair, modify and/or alter the system are not permitted. Otherwise the
approval of the remote control system will expire.
Driving
Do not drive if your ability to react is impaired (fatigue, influence of medication or alcohol). Incorrect reactions can cause serious personal injury
and damage to property. Also do not drive if you have the slightest doubt about the perfect technical condition of your model / transmitter.
Do not connect the drive motor on electric models until the receiving system has been fully installed, otherwise the drive motor may sud-
denly start up unintentionally.
Always keep direct visual contact with the model.
Operate the model only on private property or on areas designated for this purpose. Observe the requirements and regulations.
When operating a model, always ensure that body parts or objects are not in the danger zone of motors or rotating parts.
Regularly check all screw connections and fasteners, as they can become loose during operation.
Immediately stop operating your model if a malfunction occurs and correct the cause before continuing to use the model.
Avoid driving at low outside temperatures, as this reduces battery capacity and causes the chassis to lose elasticity and splinter easily.
Do not expose your model and the remote control system to direct sunlight, moisture, heavy soiling or great heat/cold for a long time.
Only use original spare parts.
Allow the model to cool down for at least 15 minutes after each used battery!
Do not drive:
In crowds
Towards people or animals
In conservation areas or near animals
At night or in living areas
Under high-voltage power lines, radio towers or during thunderstorms
Note that RC-models must not be driven on terrain with public passengers and motor traffic.
In the rain or in damp terrain, otherwise the electrical system should be damaged.
Always allow the model to cool down sufficiently. This is especially important if you are using high capacity batteries that will allow the
model to run longer. Monitoring the temperature will prolong the life of the batteries and of the motor.
Do not continue to drive your model with low capacity batteries, as you may lose control of the model. Signs of a low battery include slow
operation, sluggish servos (slow return to center position), or electronic speed control shutting down due to low voltage detection.
Do not apply throttle if the model is sitting on an object or is trapped. Remove the object before continuing to drive. Do not attempt to pull
or push objects with the model.
Because your model is controlled by radio, it is subject to radio interference from many sources beyond your control. Radio interference can
cause temporay loss of of control. Therefore, always maintain a safe distance on all sides around your model to avoid collisions.
