INDICATIONS
For ankle conditions that may benefit
from compression, such as;
• Ankle injury rehabilitation.
• Mild sprains and strains.
• Functional instability.
PERFORMANCE
The device provides functional ankle
support.
The device improves proprioception.
The device provides class 3 compression.
CONTRAINDICATION
Must not be used by individuals from
whom compression is contraindicated
WARNINGS • PRECAUTIONS OF USE
This product contains Naturel Rubber
Latex which may cause allergic reactions.
The brace should not be used in cases
where the injury requires relative or
absolute immobilization or surgical
procedure.
Do not wear for extended periods
without medical follow-up.
The orthosis must not be used in direct
contact with damaged skin.
The orthosis is a single patient use device.
Do not use for multiple patients.
If any problems occur with the use of the
orthosis, e.g. pain or appearance of local
signs, remove the orthosis and contact
your healthcare professional.
MEASUREMENT AND SIZE CHART
The size is to choose in accordance with the circumference of your ankle, measured
above the malleoli (in cm).

The user and/or patient must report any
serious incident that has occurred in
relation to the device to the manufacturer
and the competent authority of the
Member State in which the user and/or
patient is established.
SET UP AND OPERATION
The first application must be carried out
by a qualified healthcare professional to
understand the correct fitting and how to
put the device on properly. Subsequently,
the product should be put on the patient
in the same way by the user or a family
member or a friend.
• The ankle sleeve can be used on the
left or right ankle.
• The ankle sleeve is put on by sliding it
over the ankle like a sock. The Gibaud
logo should be on the top of the ankle.
• Place the lower edge (without logo)
under the arch of your foot.
CARE INSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE
AND DISPOSAL
Hand wash in warm and soapy water
(maximum of 40°C); rinse thoroughly;
wring out gently; do not bleach; dry flat,
do not tumble dry; do not iron; do not
dry clean.
The device and packaging must
be disposed of in accordance with
respective local or national environmental
regulations.
