Problem
The fryer is not

Possible cause
The control assembly is not
installed correctly.
The plug is not connected to the
electrical wall outlet.
The electrical outlet is not energized. Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse.
The reset switch has tripped.
Too much oil in the oil reservoir.
The food basket if overfilled.
Oil has been used too often and is
foaming.
Oil is not hot enough.
The food basket is overfilled.
Food pieces too large.
Cooking time too short.
Oil temperature too hot.
The oil has been used too
often.
Solution
Re-attach the control panel assembly.
Insert the plug into the electrical wall
outlet.
Turn the appliance off and let it cool
completely. Then remove the control
panel and press the ther-mostat
reset button.
Turn the deep fryer off. Let the oil cool
completely and remove some of the
excess oil.
Remove some of the food from
the basket.
Turn the deep fryer off. Let the oil cool
completely and refill the oil reservoir
with new oil.
Adjust the temperature control dial
to appropriate temperature for food
being fried.
Remove some of the food from the
basket.
Cut the food into smaller pieces.
Continue frying and check the
process continually.
Lower the temperature of the oil to
allow the food to cook completely.
Let the oil cool completely and replace
with new oil.
