3. Warming and frothing milk
There may be a slight odour when using the appliance for the first
time. This is harmless. Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
If the appliance was previously switched off (the indicator light is
not flashing), press the On/Off switch twice.
If the appliance is ready for use (the indicator light is flashing),
press the On/Off switch once.
The appliance beeps twice. The indicator light lights up red. The appliance
froths the milk and heats it up at the same time.
Once the milk has been sufficiently warmed (approx. 60-70 °C), the warming
and frothing process will stop automatically.
The warming and frothing process will stop automatically. The appliance
beeps four times. The indicator light begins to slowly flash red again.
You can remove the milk jug from the base.
The ventilation will continue operating for a few more moments and will
then also switch off automatically.
When the milk is approx. 60–70 °C hot, the frothing and warming
process cannot be restarted immediately. The milk and milk jug must
first cool down. However, if you do try to do this, the indicator light
will start flashing again, you will hear beeping and the ventilation will
start up. However, the frothing and warming process will not start up.
Frothing cold milk
You can also froth milk without heating it.
If the appliance was previously switched off (the indicator light
is not flashing), briefly press the On/Off switch once at first.
Then hold down the On/Off switch for approx. 2 seconds.
The appliance beeps twice. The indicator light briefly lights up red and then
turns blue. The appliance begins frothing the milk.
The frothing process will stop automatically after approx. 1 minute.
The appliance beeps four times. The indicator light begins to slowly
flash red again.
You can remove the milk jug from the base.
The ventilation will continue operating for a few more moments and will
then also switch off automatically.
Interrupting or stopping the warming and frothing process
Press the On/Off switch.
You will hear a long beep, the frothing and warming process will stop
and the indicator light will begin to flash red.
To restart the frothing and warming process, press the On/Off
switch again:
- press it briefly for warming and frothing
- press and hold it for frothing without warming
4. Switching off the appliance
The appliance then turns off automatically after 3 minutes. To disconnect
the appliance fully from the mains after using it, unplug the mains plug
from the wall socket.
